Role: FLT Operative x 2
Location: Manchester Airport
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 16:00 - 01:00
Contract: Temporary to permanent

We are currently looking to recruit 2 experienced FLT drivers to join our client, based at Manchester Airport.

Duties of an FLT Operative include:
" Operating a counterbalance truck (with future training on B2 trucks for heavier loads).
" Handballing and breaking down cargo pallets from aircraft onto wooden pallets (physical role).
" Shrink wrapping and labelling pallets.
" Moving palletised stock into the warehouse (across export and import warehouses, which are adjacent).
" Using warehouse management systems to book stock in and out (must be computer literate).
" Carrying out security-related paperwork checks, requiring excellent attention to detail due to strict airport procedures.
" Over time, the role will become more technical, involving greater system use and documentation checking.
" General warehouse duties as required.


Requirements of a successful FLT Operative
" Able to pass a drugs and alcohol test
" Valid, accredited FLT Counterbalance B1 licence. Inhouse or out of date will not be considered.
" Minimum 12 months' recent forklift experience.
" Strong attention to detail.
" Computer literate
" Ability to handle repetitive and heavy manual work.
