Job Title: Class 1 Night Driver (Trunking)

Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester 


7am-5pm

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Salary: £37,596 per annum


 Working Pattern:

Night shifts, Monday to Friday

 
Overview:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Night Driver based in Wythenshawe, Manchester. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering a clear pathway to a permanent position with a well-established and growing logistics operation.

 
Job Role:

 

• 
  Trunking route from Manchester to Heathrow and back

• 
  Drop and swap work (no handball involved)

• 
  Use of PDA for delivery confirmation and tracking

• 
  Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time

• 
  Completing vehicle checks and adhering to all driving regulations

 

 
Requirements:

 

• 
  Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

• 
  Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience

• 
  Comfortable with night driving and long-distance trunking

• 
  Experience using a PDA (preferred)

• 
  Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• 
  Reliable and professional attitude

 

 
Pay & Benefits:

 

• 
  Annual salary: £37,596

• 
  Overtime paid after 50 hours per week

• 
  Monday to Friday: £16.96 per hour

• 
  Saturday: £19.46 per hour

• 
  Sunday: £21.96 per hour

• 
  Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term prospects
