Permanent, Full-time (35 hours per week)
An established legal practice in Walsall is looking to recruit a Legal Secretarial Assistant to provide dedicated administrative and secretarial support to the firm’s lawyers. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, professional and comfortable working in a busy legal environment where attention to detail and efficiency are key.
You will play an important role in helping lawyers manage their workload, maintain accurate documentation and ensure clients receive a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative and secretarial support to lawyers
- Managing diaries, appointments and meeting arrangements
- Updating and maintaining files using the firm’s case management system
- Preparing legal documents, correspondence and reports
- Handling incoming calls and assisting with client enquiries
- Opening, organising and maintaining client files and documentation
- Assisting with preparation of court documents and general office administration
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a legal secretarial or legal administrative role preferred
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
- Confident using Microsoft Office and case management systems
