 Overview 
We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced food manufacturing site in Tipton. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving production and packaging equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and high performance.

 
 Key Duties 

• 
  Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

• 
  Fast response to breakdowns

• 
  Electrical & mechanical fault finding

• 
  Work on pumps, conveyors, fillers, cookers & packaging machinery

• 
  PLC fault finding (no programming required)

• 
  Support continuous improvement and equipment upgrades

• 
  Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP, GMP) and H&S standards

 

 
 Requirements 

• 
  NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / BTEC in Engineering

• 
  Experience in food manufacturing

• 
  Strong electrical & mechanical fault-finding skills

• 
  Experience with high-speed production lines

• 
  Able to work 4 on / 4 off shift pattern

 

 
 Desirable 

• 
  PLC experience (Siemens / Allen Bradley)

• 
  18th Edition

• 
  CMMS experience

• 
  Lean / continuous improvement exposure
