CNC Setter/Programmer
 Location: Dudley Area

Pay: £17.00 per hour + overtime

Shifts: Rotating 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm

 
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter/Programmer on behalf of a well-established heavy engineering company in the Dudley area.

 
The successful candidate will have experience working on large-scale components, be able to interpret complex engineering drawings, and ideally have knowledge of Siemens controls.

 
Duties Include: 

• 
  Setting and operating CNC/manual machines

• 
  Basic CNC programming using Siemens controls

• 
  Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• 
  Inspecting components to tight tolerances

• 
  Machine setup, tooling selection, and troubleshooting

• 
  Overhead crane use (LOLER training provided)

• 
  Maintaining safe and clean working areas

• 
  Supporting TPM and machine maintenance activities

 

 
Requirements: 

• 
  Apprenticeship or relevant machining experience

• 
  Minimum 2 years’ experience in manual turning and/or deep hole boring

• 
  Experience with large-scale machining preferred

• 
  Strong understanding of Health & Safety

• 
  Ability to work independently and problem solve
