Role responsibilities:
  • Making inbound and outbound calls to customers regarding outstanding payments
  • Providing a high level of customer service with empathy and professionalism
  • Speaking with customers experiencing financial difficulties and collecting key information
  • Negotiating affordable payment plans in line with company policies
  • Referring vulnerable customers to relevant internal departments or support agencies
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and updating the CRM system
  • Supporting customers with advice and signposting where appropriate
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience in a call centre, customer service or collections role
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic with an empathetic approach
  • Comfortable working to KPIs and in a target-driven environment
  • Able to work under pressure and use initiative
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and general IT competency
  • Must live within a commutable distance to the Sheffield office
