Job Title: Class 2 Day Driver (HGV)


Location: Wigston, Leicester
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Start Time: Day shifts (start times may vary)


Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour


Job Description:
We are currently looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Day Driver to join our team based in Wigston, Leicester. This role involves general haulage work with a consistent weekday schedule and a manageable number of deliveries.


Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out Class 2 day deliveries and collections
• Complete between 0–10 drops per shift
• Ensure goods are delivered safely and on time
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and follow all transport regulations
• Some handballing may be required depending on the load

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Good timekeeping and a reliable attitude
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
