We’re working with a respected civil and structural engineering consultancy who are looking for a Flood Risk Consultant to join their growing Bristol team.

This is a great opportunity to develop your career in a supportive environment, working alongside experienced engineers and consultants on a varied workload across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

The role:

• Producing and advising on flood risk and sustainable drainage strategies for planning applications
• Supporting the design team and working closely with the Flood Risk Team Lead
• Preparing reports and strategies across a variety of development and regeneration projects
• Contributing to SuDS design and integration within private sector developments
• Using tools such as GIS and AutoCAD to support project delivery

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science or a related field
• 1–3 years’ post-graduate experience, ideally in a consultancy environment
• Strong knowledge of SuDS standards and UK planning processes
• Experience or a genuine interest in flood risk and sustainable drainage strategies
• Proficiency in relevant software (GIS, AutoCAD)
