Site Labourer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Labourer to join the Maintenance team at a well-established company based in Hykeham, Lincoln. Our client is committed to excellence and is looking for a dependable individual to support their ongoing success.
 
Working under the Site Facilities & Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the site by maintaining machinery, managing waste, and keeping the grounds and buildings in top condition. What will I be expected to do?

• Maintain grounds and buildings to a high standard.
• Perform general labouring duties, including emptying swarf bins and general waste bins (internal and external).
• Top up machines with coolant and oil as needed.
• Clean out machines and perform weekly stock control of oils.
• Update paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Support the team with additional duties as required (e.g., covering holidays).

 
What skills do I need?

• Forklift licence
• UK driving licence
• Dependable and committed attitude
• Strong interpersonal skills (team player)
• Willingness to follow procedures
• Computer literate
• Ability to work independently.

 
What hours will I be working?
This role operates on a 37-hour week with an A/B shift rotation:

• A Shift - Monday to Thursday 6:00 AM – 1:35 PM, Friday 6:00 AM – 12:45 PM.
• B Shift - Monday to Thursday 1:25 PM – 9:05 PM, Friday 12:35 PM – 7:00 PM.
• Overtime is available when required.

 
How much will I be paid?

• £23,400 to £24,492 per annum, depending on experience. (Plus, shift premium)
• Additional shift premium: 20% for B Shift.
