Job Title: Stores Person
Location: Newport
Salary: £13-14 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary - End of October
Hours: Mon-Thur 8am – 16:45. Fri 8am – 13:00 

 

Pertemps is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading design and manufacturing company based in Newport. They are looking for a reliable and organised Stores Person to join their busy and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, check, and store incoming materials and products
  
  
• Pick and pack items accurately for production or dispatch
  
  
• Maintain accurate stock records using manual and digital systems
  
  
• Carry out regular stock checks and audits
  
  
• Keep the stores area clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
  
  
• Liaise with internal departments regarding stock levels and requirements
  
  
• Assist with deliveries and loading/unloading of goods
  
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or stock control role
  
  
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  
  
• Comfortable using inventory systems and basic IT tools
  
  
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
  
  
• Experience with Import & Export Logistics
