BDM - Fire Alarm Projects

This well-respected fire alarm systems installer are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join their leading fire alarm installation company based in the Midlands. This national role focuses on generating new business, developing strategic relationships, and expanding our presence across the M&E and FM sectors, as well as wider commercial and industrial markets.
The successful applicant will be responsible for identifying opportunities, shaping solutions, and securing long term partnerships. This is an ideal role for someone who understands the fire and life safety sector and thrives in a consultative, solution led sales environment. Candidates for this role will need a proven track record in business development or technical sales within the fire alarm and life safety industry, with a strong understanding of the M&E and FM market, including how fire alarm projects are procured and delivered, excellent knowledge of fire detection systems and BS 5839 compliance requirements, the ability to build rapport quickly and communicate technical solutions clearly, experience managing a national territory and working autonomously, commercially astute with strong negotiation and closing skills and a Full UK driving licence.
This exciting opportunity comes with a basic salary of circa £50,000 (negotiable) plus commission, car or allowance and package, OTE circa £90,000.
