Reporting to: Programme Manager / Deputy Programme Manager
Job Purpose
A highly reputable Royal College seeks a Project Officer to support the College’s quality networks and accreditation programmes, assisting in the collection, analysis, and management of service data, supporting workshops and events, and contributing to reports, guidance, and communications to improve organisational standards.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with project leads and the wider team to support the development of data collection methods, tools, and reporting processes. Organise and oversee data submissions from services, supporting registration and ongoing management of service contacts. Manage and maintain databases and dashboards, using platforms such as Power BI, Netsolving, Formic, and SNAP.
- Prepare and analyse quantitative and qualitative data to inform project outputs, contribute to reports and publications, and identify opportunities for presentations. Draft project materials including guidance documents, newsletters, service updates, and communications, helping to improve processes and documentation.
- Support the planning and delivery of online and in-person meetings, workshops, and events, including advisory groups and site visits. Facilitate group discussions, supporting organisations in developing improvement plans based on project outputs.
- Liaise with service representatives, project leads, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery. Assist with marketing and recruitment activities, producing publicity materials and maintaining project webpages, email groups, and social media channels.
- Provide administrative support including minute taking, travel arrangements, processing invoices, and managing other paperwork as required. Contribute to the wider work of the College Centre for Standards and Improvement, including reviewing data and supporting online events.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, in line with Health and Safety policies, and that data is managed in accordance with GDPR. Undertake any other duties necessary to support the College and its quality networks and accreditation programmes.
Essential
- Experience working with organisations or conducting research, audit, or quality-related projects.
- Well-organised with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise.
- Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills.
- Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Office365) and confident internet use.
- Report writing experience.
- Degree in social sciences, health sciences, or related discipline.
- Experience facilitating group discussions.
- Experience organising or managing events.
- Experience in financial administration.
- Experience delivering presentations.
