SALARY: £80-90,000 (DOE)

THE ROLE:
A leading UK law firm is seeking a driven Solicitor to join its expanding Residential Development practice. The successful candidate will support senior fee earners in representing a diverse client base, including developers, local authorities, affordable housing providers, and landowners.

Responsibilities will include assisting with strategic land acquisitions and disposals, conducting title due diligence and reporting and working on the delivery of infrastructure for development projects. The role also involves drafting and negotiating transfers and easements to secure access and service rights, as well as addressing lender requirements related to development finance.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcome from qualified solicitors with a minimum of 3+ years’ PQE, with solid technical experience in the residential development sector, preferably gained within a well-regarded city, national, or regional firm. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, deliver consistently high-quality work, and adopt a proactive, flexible approach to client service and deadlines. Additionally, a genuine interest in business development and the ability to contribute to the growth of the practice will be advantageous.
