We’re looking for Grass cutters / Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our client’s team in Tavistock, helping to keep neighbourhoods clean, tidy, and well‑maintained.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves hands‑on outdoor work, enjoys being part of a supportive team, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality grounds maintenance services.

Your Responsibilities

You’ll be involved in a wide range of outdoor tasks, including:

• Cutting grass and strimming across housing estates and communal areas

• Trimming hedges, maintaining shrubs, and general grounds upkeep

• Litter picking to keep public spaces clean and safe

• Planting seasonal flowers, trees, and other greenery

• Assisting with wider landscaping and environmental improvement projects

• Operating grounds maintenance machinery such as mowers, strimmers and blowers

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or similar outdoor roles (preferred but not essential)

• A full UK driving licence if you’re not based locally to Tavistock

• Someone dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working in all weather conditions

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

• Good awareness of health and safety practices
