Job Description

Sheridan Maine are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a well-established and highly regarded organisation based in the Bristol area. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to join the team on a long-term temporary basis. Ideally candidates looking to work for on a part time basis would be preferred. 

This role is available for an immediate start and will involve supporting the Financial Controller across a wide range of accounting activities.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Perform regular account reconciliations
  • Accurately input invoices into the accounting system
  • Manage and resolve supplier payment queries
  • Process company expenses and credit card transactions
  • Carry out daily bank reconciliations
  • Assist in producing financial reports
  • Support month-end processes, including journals and accruals
  • Contribute to financial analysis tasks
Skills & experience required:
  • Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in IT systems, including Excel and Outlook
  • Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail
