Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional looking to develop their career within a high-performing finance team. The role would suit candidates with experience in FP&A, commercial finance, finance business partnering, management accounting, financial analysis, or project finance.
Working closely with senior finance leadership and operational stakeholders, the FP&A Analyst will play a key role in forecasting, business performance analysis, revenue reporting, margin analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making across major projects and operational areas.
Key responsibilities:
- Producing weekly and monthly revenue, margin, and business performance reporting
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecast processes
- Delivering insightful financial analysis around project performance, profitability, and cost variances
- Partnering with operational and commercial teams to support decision-making and improve performance
- Supporting revenue recognition activities in line with IFRS15 / ASC606
- Assisting with financial modelling, scenario analysis, and KPI reporting
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting strong financial controls
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, systems, controls, and finance processes
- Developing and enhancing reporting tools using Excel and Power BI
About you:
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in an FP&A Analyst, Finance Analyst, Commercial Finance Analyst, Management Accountant, or Finance Business Partner position.
What we’re looking for:
- Part-qualified or qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA
- Strong experience within FP&A, commercial finance, or financial analysis
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUPs, and data analysis
- Experience with forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders
- Knowledge of IFRS15 / ASC606 revenue recognition principles
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, projects, or contract-based environments would be advantageous
- Power BI experience would be beneficial
