Meals on wheels driver

Are you someone who loves helping others and wants to give back to your community? We're looking for a compassionate and reliable Meals on Wheels Driver to deliver warm, nutritious meals to those who need them most - all while brightening someone's day with a friendly smile.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Deliver freshly prepared meals from our community kitchen to local residents.
- Ensure meals arrive on time and in perfect condition.
- Be a friendly face and a source of connection for clients who may not see many people.
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols to keep everyone safe.
- Keep simple records of deliveries and report any concerns.

What You'll Need:
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- A clean driving record and a strong sense of road safety.
- Ability to lift and carry meal containers safely.
- A warm, respectful, and dependable attitude.
- Business insurance (required).
- An Enhanced DBS check (we'll cover the cost).

Working Hours:
- Every other weekend: Saturdays & Sundays, 11:00 AM - 13:30 PM
- Extra shifts may be available during the week or on additional weekends.

Pay:
- £12.60/hour on Saturdays
- £15.75/hour on Sundays
- Mileage reimbursed at £0.45 per mile
