Salary: Inner London Teacher Pay Scale MPS1 - MPS6 + SEN Allowance 

Start date: September 2026

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Lambeth is seeking a compassionate and skilled Early Years SEN Teacher to join its specialist Autism Base provision.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a highly supportive specialist setting, helping children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) thrive socially, emotionally, and academically during the crucial early years of education.

The Autism Base provides tailored support for pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition, enabling children to access personalised learning programmes while benefiting from integration opportunities within the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be completing teacher training
  • Have a passion for supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
  • Be confident adapting learning to meet individual needs
  • Have knowledge of EYFS and child development
  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Experience working with children with Autism or additional needs is desirable but not essential for ECT applicants with a strong interest in SEND.
