£545 per week | Full-time | Primary School
We are recruiting an experienced Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to support two Reception children (ages 4–5) with Autism and challenging behaviour at a welcoming Primary School in Lambeth, SW2.
The role:
- 1:1 and small‑group support for children with Autism
- Managing challenging behaviour, including emotional regulation and tantrums
- Supporting learning, routines and engagement in the classroom
- Comfortable providing personal care when required
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Proven experience supporting children with SEN (Autism essential)
- Confident and resilient approach to challenging behaviour
- Physically and emotionally robust, calm under pressure
- Comfortable with personal care
- Early Years or Primary School experience preferred
- Supportive staff team
- Consistent placement
- Competitive pay of £545 per week
