***Long-term contract, September – July 2026
***£90 - £120 per day (dependant on experience)
***’Good’ Primary School in South Birmingham
***One-to-One SEN Teaching assistant within Resource Base
The Role
You will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs both in mainstream classes and within the school’s dedicated resource base. You will work one-to-one and provide small group support for pupils with autism, and cognition and learning needs. You will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored learning strategies and adapt activities to meet individual needs. You will use outdoor and sensory spaces, such as forest areas and sensory gardens to support children’s physical and emotional development.
The Candidate
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, you will demonstrate strong behaviour management, clear communication and a calm, patient approach. You will be confident working one-to-one and in small groups, able to adapt learning activities and committed to inclusive education. You will have a team-focused attitude, and a genuine interest in supporting children to thrive academically, emotionally and socially.
