Music Teacher – Wolverhampton – May 2025 Start
 
An ambitious secondary school in Wolverhampton is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join them from May 2025 through to the end of the academic year. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver a full timetable of Music to Key Stage 3 and 4 students in a supportive and well-resourced department.

  • Salary: £175 - £250 per day
 
The Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive Music lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. The role includes full teaching responsibilities—planning lessons, setting homework, assessing progress, and contributing to the wider life of the department. You’ll need to adapt your teaching to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners and encourage creativity and performance through a broad curriculum.
 
The Candidate
You’ll need QTS (or equivalent) and experience teaching Music at secondary level, ideally up to GCSE. The ideal candidate will be confident in both classroom and practical teaching, have strong classroom management skills, and be passionate about fostering a love of music in young people. Whether you're a seasoned teacher or an ECT with strong potential, your enthusiasm and subject knowledge will be key.
