We are working with a number of secondary schools in the Wolverhampton area seeking reliable, adaptable, and confident Cover Supervisors to join their teams from September 2025. With both long-term and day-to-day roles available, this is a great opportunity for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or experienced cover staff looking for flexible or consistent work.

- Pay: £500 – £750 per week (depending on assignment and experience)
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work in the absence of the regular class teacher. You will manage classroom behaviour, ensure pupils remain on task, and provide feedback to teaching staff. While teaching experience is not essential, confidence in managing secondary-aged pupils and strong communication skills are vital. You’ll be covering a range of subjects across KS3 and KS4, so flexibility and a calm, professional approach are key.
The Candidate
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have experience working with young people (e.g. in schools, coaching, youth work or tutoring)
- Are confident managing behaviour in a classroom setting
- Have a degree or equivalent qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Are adaptable, punctual, and able to build positive rapport with students quickly
- Are considering a career in teaching or education
