Job Description
We are working with a thriving secondary school in Solihull seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their department from September 2025. This is a long-term supply role, ideal for a specialist in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, or a generalist confident across all three disciplines at KS3 and KS4.

The Role
You’ll join a dynamic and supportive Science department delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum. Whether your background is in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science, you’ll have access to excellent facilities and a well-structured scheme of work. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, tracking pupil progress, and contributing to the wider life of the school. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to develop their classroom practice in a forward-thinking school.
The Candidate
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Science teacher who:
- Holds UK QTS or equivalent
- Has experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (all specialisms considered)
- Is confident planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
- Can manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote high expectations
- Is committed to student progress and open to working collaboratively with colleagues
- Applications from ECTs are welcomed.
