Job Description
An Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Sandwell is seeking a dedicated and energetic Female PE Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to deliver high-quality Physical Education across a supportive and well-resourced department.

The Role
You’ll be delivering PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on promoting participation, resilience, and a positive attitude to health and fitness. The school is well-equipped with modern sports facilities, and you'll be supported by an experienced department. As this is a female PE role, you will primarily teach girls’ PE and be involved in extra-curricular activities and school fixtures.
The Candidate
You must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have recent experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools. A strong understanding of the national curriculum, excellent behaviour management, and a passion for promoting physical activity are essential. The role is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs with a specialism in PE.

Behaviour across the school is good, and the leadership team is known for being approachable and responsive. The school values teamwork and regularly invests in CPD for teaching staff.
