Job Description

Pertemps are excited to be working with a top distribution company in the Heathrow area. They are looking for a results driven and motivated telesales/business development consultant to join their team. If you have experience in sales this role could be just for you!

This role is for someone looking to build strong client relationships and drive in new business. You'll be joining a friendly, supportive team who has a great reputation in the industry for first class service!

 

What you’ll be doing:
  • Making around 60 outbound calls to speak with potential/lapsed customers per week
  • Targeting local SME’s
  • Fact finding
  • Arrange appointments for business development managers
  • Enter and update customer information into CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information into CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Go the “extra mile” to bring in new business to the company, using new and personal sales plans
About the Role:
  • 40 hours a week - Flexible hours– you can choose your own schedule within working hours
  • Monday to Friday (no weekends!)
  • Temporary position until at least December - chance to go permanent 
 
What We’re Looking For:
  • Clear and confident telephone manner with strong persuasion and objection handling skills.
  • Organised, reliable, and positive attitude
  • Good listening and basic computer skills
  • Able to follow instructions and stay organised
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly with clients
  • Ready to start immediately
  • Proven experience working within logistics, distribution or courier services.
  • Experience using Salesforce
