Qualified Social Worker - Looked After Children & Care Leavers
£30.00 per hour
East Riding of Yorkshire
37 hours p/w, hybrid working

About you:
• A qualified social worker (DipSW or equivalent) with post-qualifying training.
• A confident, motivated professional who can lead by example and contribute to our journey toward excellence.
• Strong decision-making skills and a clear understanding of the statutory duties and responsibilities in relation to our children looked after and care leavers
• Experienced in statutory childcare work, particularly with Children Looked After.
• Skilled in managing complex casework.
• A confident communicator, able to build rapport and deliver clear information.
• A commitment to ensuring timely and appropriate support for children and families.
• Excellent partnership working and the ability to use your initiative
• Experience working across organisational boundaries to improve outcomes.
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines


What you need:

• A degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Registered with ocial Work England
• At least 3 years PQE permanent, direct employment within English LA
• Completed relevant post-qualifying training
• Enhanced DBS check
• Excellent communication and written skills
