Static Air Condtioning Engineer

Semi Static Senior AC Engineer – Data Centre – Canary Wharf £45k plus travel card.

 

My Client provides precise and bespoke Air Conditioning and Mechanical Services, maintenance, remedial and replacement projects. Covering London and the South East.

 

They employ 10+ staff at present and pride themselves on being a bespoke air conditioning company.

 

They now require a senior AC Engineer to work at a number of data centres within Canary wharf on a semi static basis, carrying out the following works :  

• Test, and maintain  CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioning) units, chillers, and precision cooling systems.
• Ensure systems meet design specifications and industry standards.
• Using Daikin Service checker
• Perform routine inspections and servicing of HVAC and cooling systems.
• Replace filters, belts, and other consumables.
• Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs to minimise downtime.
• Monitor temperature, humidity, and air quality within the data centre.
• Use Building Management Systems (BMS) and other monitoring tools to track system performance.
• Respond promptly to system alarms or failures.
• Carry out root cause analysis to prevent repeat issues.
• Support critical incident management to minimise risk to IT equipment

 

Qualifications and experience :

 

• Ideally have experience of working within Data Centres previously but not essential.
• City & Guilds/Diploma level 2 in Air conditioning
• Cat 1 F Gas

 

In return my client if offering the following package :

 

£45/47K basic salary

Monday to Friday 8 till 5 – 40 hour week
